API 5L X60 Buttweld fittings are high-strength carbon steel piping components engineered for high-pressure and high-performance pipeline applications. Also referred to as L415 grade, these fittings offer a minimum yield strength of 60 Ksi (415 MPa) with excellent toughness, weldability, and resistance to mechanical stress. They are manufactured in compliance with API 5L and ISO 3183 standards.

API 5L X60 buttweld fittings are extensively used in onshore and offshore oil & gas pipelines, water transmission systems, petrochemical plants, refineries, and power generation projects. The fittings are available in elbows, tees, reducers, caps, and stub ends in a wide range of sizes, wall thicknesses, and schedules.

Manufacturing Process

API 5L X60 buttweld fittings are manufactured from seamless or welded pipes using hot forming, cold forming, or machining processes. Heat treatment is applied as per PSL 1 or PSL 2 requirements to achieve specified mechanical properties. All fittings are tested and inspected in accordance with API 5L and applicable dimensional standards.
